@lagedernation @vieuxrenard über die neue XXL-Folge LdN 357 habe ich mich sehr gefreut! An einer Stelle hätte ich jedoch noch eine Rückfrage.

Im Kapitel zur Schuldenbremse/Finanzhaushalt (ab ca. 00:29:10) sagt ihr, dass eine CO2 Steuer überdurchschnittlich die Haushalte treffen würde, die ohnehin nur schlecht über die Runden kommen. "Und diese Kosten treffen vor allem Menschen mit weniger finanziellen Ressourcen. Diese Menschen werden durch so eine Erhöhung des CO2-Preises überdurchschnittlich belastet".

Auch wenn jegliche zusätzliche Steuerbelastung für diese Haushalte sicherlich spürbar und mitunter auch kritisch sein könnte, ist es nicht eher so, dass reichere Haushalte tendenziell anteilig mehr belastet werden (auch wenn es bei diesen nicht zu Engpässen kommen wird) da sie auch im Schnitt überproportional mehr CO2 erzeugen? Genau das war ja der zentrale soziale Aspekt an dieser Steuer. Weil eine pro-Kopf-Auszahlung an Haushalte automatisch zu einer sozial gerechteren Umverteilung führen würde, wie ihr das selbst ja schon mehrfach erklärt hattet. Ihr geht natürlich auch darauf ein, dass absehbar kein Klimageld ausgezahlt werden kann/wird. Dennoch würden nach meinem Verständnis einer CO2-Steuer doch finanziell stärkere Haushalte mehr belastet als finanziell schwächere.

Habe ich hier etwas übersehen oder euch im Beitrag falsch verstanden? Denn klar ist (wie von euch angesprochen), wenn kein Klimageld ausgezahlt, die CO2-Steuer aber erhöht wird, kann es für einige ärmere Haushalte tatsächlich kritisch werden.

I really wish there was an e-mail client that was remotely as powerful, customizable and easy to use as #astroidmail (repo). I tried #aerc and other #notmuch clients too, but none I tried so far matched astroid. Unfortunately, it hasn't received meanigfullmaintainance for a while (although since last summer, there are indeed a bunch of smaller commits again).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I wrote a rather simple #PHP-Onepager that checks the online-status of various #Twitch Channels provided in a simple text file and creates a Stream-feed where you can either watch the stream directly (via iframe embedding), open twitch.tv, watch via streamlink (if installed on your computer) or simply open the chat.

The Feed consists of online-status, preview image, stream description and currently played game.

All with pure PHP and without the Twitch API (and without a Twitch-Account...) just by very simple scraping techniques. Only downside: Each check takes around 1 second per stream, so if you want to follow many streamers, polling may take a while. Has automatic bright and dark mode as well as a webmanifest for PWAs on Smartphones, etc.

Been to the  #Dinosaur museum Altmühltal / Bavaria this week. I think it is safe to say that people can indeed learn a lot about animals, extinct or not, without putting living animals in cages. Little #govegan side note 😊
