@txt_file i really loved #AstroidMail (https://github.com/astroidmail/astroid) back in 2018. We even had a mini hacking session at fossdem '18 with the creator of the project. It has been somewhat abandoned for a few years now. But it looks like it got a bunch of contributions again this year

I really wish there was an e-mail client that was remotely as powerful, customizable and easy to use as #astroidmail (repo). I tried #aerc and other #notmuch clients too, but none I tried so far matched astroid. Unfortunately, it hasn't received meanigfullmaintainance for a while (although since last summer, there are indeed a bunch of smaller commits again).

Does anyone have any suggestions?
