Twitter's new "For You" page is 1/3 tweets and retweets from your mutuals, 1/3 random tweets your mutuals have commented on and 1/3 just completely random tweets from accounts nobody you know is even following. It is astonishing to watch the downhill climb that platform is doing over the past few months.

How come that after all these decades, innovations and fancy solutions, the most accessible and most reliable way to do #backups is freaking zip/tar with low compression onto an external network drive... #linux

My #FP4 got updated to Android 12. Not sure I like the look of it. Also, I truly miss #phosh... Though I did hear that GNU/Linux is coming for the FP4, so we'll see ;)

We really do life in the very worst of timelines: "Another type of worker". Source: https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/02/11/child-labor-iowa/

Image descriptions: screenshots of the linked articles. The headline says: "In a tight labor market, some states look to another type of worker: children"

Has anyone experience with #S3 object storage? IONOS has a relatively cheap offer and I am thinking about using it as my main file storage on my #VPS (mostly music). #selfhosted #opensource #linux

Did a puzzle with my partner over the weekend. Really nice thing to do with another person 馃檪鉁岋笍

That was completely crazy. Amazing bands and a whopping 120 minute power performance by Architects 馃

Images show some impressions from the sets of Architects, Northland and Sleep Token.

Finally another live concert tomorrow. And this year starts with a banger: Architects and Northlane. I've seen Architects half a dozen of times by now and it was more than worth it every single instance. Never seen Northlane before, but have been looking forward to it so long now. Needless to say I am super hyped

Had major trouble with sound-output on my work laptop yesterday and was troubleshooting for way too long. On Debian of all Distros...

Turns out a pipewire-update pushed to backports yesterday resolved it, but I am still not quite sure why it lost the output channel every other minute 馃

Oh hey, #Fedora38 will be available with #sway as one of the default flavours? Maybe it's time again to dabble outside Debian
