The other day I must have cooked the most true-to-my-origins (and fun to pronounce) dinner in a while. I present: #Dibbelabbes from the #Saarland region. Only with the special Maggie seasoning sauce, applesauce and a Karlsberg beer (alc free here) from the region.
There is typically bacon bits in there, so naturally my #vegan go-to was smoked tofu, which matches really well! #food


Partner and myself didn't really have the time to cook properly tonight, so instead we made some toast Hawaii (which was planned for another day). I'd say, that's pretty nice! #vegan #food


I've been getting really bored of hummus alone lately, so yesterday I made these really quick and easy spreads (1. Lentils & beans, 2. Sunflower seeds & beans), along with the one I have been making for a while (3. Peas & cashew). Could do them in parallel, so I was done within 20 minutes.
I am not fully happy with the spices yet, but I will experiment a bit with that next time.
All of them of course #vegan an on top of the remainders of my self made spelt #bread and some stuffed vine leaves from a can 😅


Tonight, we had a #Saarland classic: Schaales (the term "Dibbelappes" is more common, but I prefer the former and where I am from, there is indeed a difference between both dishes). Here with leek, smoked tofu chunks and of course applesauce #vegan


Been to Alexander Kunz Theatre in Saarbrücken last night with my family. It has been super entertaining and the #vegan menu was of course really good! Here are some food-impressions:

A nice wintersalat for dinner! Lamb's lettuce, carrots, black salsify and small vegetable patties #vegan


The recipe said "onion cake", but to be honest, this was basically pizza with smoked tofu, onions and a silken tofu sauce. Super delicious though! #vegan


Because it was so delicious yesterday, tonight's dinner is yet again sweet tarte flambée with pear and pumpkin. Unlike yesterday with cranberry sauce on top and a nice green salad with chickpeas on the side #vegan
