@rainer ist in der tat vom WM abhängig. Bei i3wm & dwm bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob das klappt. Die wayland WMs können das in der Regel aber. Z.B. sway, wayfire usw.

Und desktop environments können das ohnehin. Sowohl unter dem "alten" Xorg als auch unter dem "neuen" wayland: GNOME, plasma/kde, xfce (nur Xorg)
